Travel Blog

Why a travel blog?

This travel blog provides musings and travails on visits to far off places touching on international development, learning about other cultures, and reflecting back upon our own. We at Social Enterprise Associates believe in metrics and measurements, but we also believe in connecting this quantifiable data to the real outcomes of our work. After all, it's easy to lose sight of the end result when you're caught up in the process.

Here we showcase real stories of individuals who have seen the outcomes of their work: collaborated the beneficiaries, lived in the areas they're serving, and shared experiences with local individuals.

We believe that this travel blog offers a meaningful, even necessary, outlet for practitioners in social enterprise, international development, and microfinance to share the stories that humanize their work.

Submissions welcome that share humor, engagement, and advance understanding for a better tomorrow.
